The Tale of a Gecko, Yesterday Part 2

We thought the day had a lovely end with Pizza Hut pizza, but it actually ended with accidental animal abuse. Montana was on her way to the bathroom to remove the henna, and slammed the door not seeing the gecko above. Montana freaked out when she saw a moving tail on the floor. She got LuRue and they found the other half of the body. Montana felt really bad about her animal slaughter, until LuRue looked it up and it turns out, it was a defense mechanism of a lizard. When a predator is trying to attack the lizard, the lizard will release its tail, which distracts the predator giving the lizard time to run.

Here is a before/after of the henna:

  1. Whoa. It must take a while for the henna to come completely off. Funny about the gecko. Imagine if cockroaches could do that. Eewwww.
